Built in December 1949 for the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad. Acquired by NJ Transit for use on the Hoboken Division during the re-electrification project in 1983. Donated to the URHS in 1991 and restored to its present look by Metro North upon the termination of their lease of the unit. Replicates the numerous LV F7A units that used to haul freight between New Jersey and points west. No original Valley F units exist today. |
