The newest addition to the museum's fleet of historic locos is this Alco product#of 1951. Built for the Birmingham Southern as their 151, it worked at the Alpha Portland plant at Alsen, NY from when BS sold it in the 1970s until 2011 when it was acquired by the museum. It is in very good mechanical condition and requires mostly cosmetic work to get it back in service. |
