Title: |
BSOR 107 |
Description: |
This locomotive may have seen better days but it is definitely worth taking a second look. Originally built by Alco for the Lehigh Valley Railroad as number 151, this unit was received by the Valley in the summer of 1942, a time when our nation was mixed up in the great conflict that was World War II. One of the oldest examples of Lehigh Valley diesel power, it now sits with other out of service Alco switchers along the Buffalo Southern Railroad awaiting its turn for restoration. |
