SNC 411, like its counterpart, has served on both Amtrak and AMT in Montreal but, unlike SNC 319, the unit is not an Amtrak original. Constructed by GMD in 1978 for GO Transit in Toronto as GOT 511.

Twin F40s
Description:
Probably the first time that a set of F40s has operated in regularly scheduled passenger service on the Adirondack Branch, the twins would only run briefly here before heading back to LTEX, replaced by Iowa Pacific's former NJT GP40FH-2s.
