Now part of the Silver Lake Railroad's locomotive collection, this tiny Plymouth was originally built in 1939 for the Stewartstown Railroad in Pennsylvania as their number 6. Nicknamed Little Mo, it worked in freight service on the line between Stewartstown and New Freedom until sale to the Wolfeboro Railroad of New Hampshire. The headlight is from a steam locomotive, acquired during the time the locomotive was displayed at the Edaville Railroad. |

Stewartstown Railroad ML-8 9, the Miehty Mo, stands ready to depart with the first trip of the day over the first mile of currently serviceable trackage. The tiny Plymouth was constructed in 1943 and was purchased used by the STRT in 1960. These caboose trips are some of the first passenger runs that this tiny historic railroad has run in a little over a decade. |
