Description:  The Hammerhead unit. Originally from the PRR, it was later traded to the Lehigh Valley Railroad, the second Alco RS unit on the roster to wear number 211. Rebuilt as an RS3m under Conrail ownership. Taken with permission.

Description:  The Tioga Central's former D&H RS3u lays over on an industrial siding with the Wellsboro & Corning switcher. The unit was one of the Delaware & Hudson's Bicentenial units. The unit still wears Bicentenial paint. Look closely. The D&H markings can still be seen under the Tioga Central letters.

Description:  Metro North's old RS3m is now at the Danbury Railway Museum. The Alco was first owned by the Lackawanna and was rebuilt with with an EMD prime mover by Conrail in the 1980s.
