The Alco built Mogul was originally constructed for a sugar cane plantation in Cuba in 1920 but was not delivered. The locomotive instead was resold to the Narragansett Pier Railroad of Peace Dale, RI in 1923. |

Built in 1907 by Alco's Manchester Worjs as B&M 100, this locomoIive is one of only two road engines left from the "Route of the Minuteman." Renumbered to its present number in 1911, it was one of the last B&M steamers in operatiov when retired in the 1950s and donated to F. Nelson Blount's Edaville Railroad, one of the first locomotives acquired by the man that would later found Steamtown USA. After many years of display at South Carver, MA, it was moved further east to the Cape Cod Railroad at Hyannis, MA with plans for a restoration to active service which never occured. Acquired by the Danbury Railway Museum in 2000. |
