Description:  Morristown & Erie FL9s 488 and 489 lay over at the M&E Morristown yard with recently repainted C424 4223 which is awaiting number boards. The two FL9s are ex-New Haven while the C424 is a former CP Rail unit. Some of the new NJ Transit Comet V coaches can be seen stored on the interchange track above the yard.

Description:  The Tri State caboose train with M&E 21 for power arrives in Dover for a day of excursions on the former CNJ Dover & Rockaway branch. The equipment was brought here from Morristown by M&E 18 due to 21's lack of cab signals. The C424 was left at Wharton Junction and will be used later for the journey back to Morristown.
