Title:  NAUG X-105

NAUG X105
Title:  NAUG X105
Description:  A little warm for the use of a snowplow this day but it sure makes for an interesting sight. Maine Central received this plow in 1936 from the Russell Snowplow Company of Pennsylvania. It also was operated by the Green Mountain Railroad of Vermont for many years before GMRC was acquired by the Vermont Rail System. The Naugatuck Railroad still occasionally uses the plow to keep the right of way clear during those harsh Connecticut snowstorms.

Green Mountain Heritage
Title:  Green Mountain Heritage
Description:  Despite being lettered for the current owner, the unmistakable markings of Vermont's Green Mountain Railroad still can be seen twenty one years after this former MEC snowplow came to the Naugatuck Valley.
