BM 496
Description:
This caboose had sat on display at the Riverside station further up the line, where it had been used as an ice cream shop during Upper Hudson River Railroad operations on the line. Due to the summer runs of the North End Local, the S&NC has expanded the Thurman station facilities and decided to include the caboose. The McGinnis era B&M lettering can still be seen underneath the more recent paint job on this side.
