BM 1246         
One of the earliest surviving passenger cars from the Boston & Maine, car 1246 was constructed by Pullman in 1907. Originally used on mainline passenger trains, this car was later bumped to branchline service when steel coaches were acquired. Later moved to maintenance of way service by the railroad, the car was sold to the then upstart Monadnock Steamtown & Northern operation and run on steam powered excursions out of Keene, NH and later Bellows Falls, VT.
