Description:
Meandering north through the deep snow blanketing Adams County, the Gettysburg & Northern local sounds its horn for the Peach Glen-Idaville Road crossing. The load this day warrented the use of three locomotives, one F unit and two rebuilt Geeps.

PREX 1755
Description:
One of Pioneer Railcorp's FP9As leads the northbound freight this day. PREX 1755 was constructed by GMD in 1957 for the Canadian National Railway as their number 6531. The paint scheme on the unit comes from the time it spent on the Algoma Central, which is also where it acquired its present road number. Thg locomotive is one of three F units that currently reside on this ex-Reading Company branch.

Description:
First train to come through here since the last snowfall, PREX 1755 has quite a bit of the white stuff on the pilot from the last few grade crossings. It is fitting that the railroad running through apple country would have a cab unit with a red nose.
